Subhashish Sengupta

Subhashish Sengupta is Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Assurant, Inc., and a member of the company’s Management Committee. In this role, Subhashish leads global talent and culture strategies, unlocking the potential of Assurant’s people to deliver exceptional business performance.

A skilled business leader with deep expertise in human capital management, Subhashish is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive culture that empowers employees to learn, thrive, and be their best.

Since joining Assurant in 2015 as Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for Assurant Solutions and member of the company’s International Business Board, Subhashish has led a global people organization focused on growth and value creation. His team has delivered award-winning work leveraging data, process, best-in-class talent, and technology, including an AI-driven omnichannel employee experience solution. He also served on Assurant’s Digital Advisory Board.

Prior to Assurant, Subhashish was part of the leadership team for KKR’s portfolio of innovation and technology companies, serving as Global Head of Learning & Leadership Development and Head of HR for the Americas and Europe. He spent over a decade at GE and brings diverse global perspectives having lived and worked across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and a blend of cross functional experiences spanning operations, Lean, Six Sigma, and human resources.

Subhashish earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from the University of Delhi and an MBA in Human Resources from XISS, India.

He is also deeply committed to the community, having founded the Atlanta chapter of GE Capital International Services’ volunteer program and supporting organizations such as the National Children’s Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and the Atlanta Women’s Foundation.
